A disaster can take many forms, but essentially it is a sudden event
bringing great damage, loss or destruction usually caused by an
external force. It can mean different things to different people
depending on the disaster. A flooded basement. A burned kitchen
or den. A roof blown off. For our purposes, disaster refers to a
destructive event involving a home or business such as fire
damage, water damage, wind damage, vandalism or trauma damage which
causes suffering and physical or monetary loss. This is a complex
business involving many people and aspects, besides the personal
needs of the individual insured. We understand the trauma of a disaster
and sympathize with the insured. We will provide an understanding
professional to give the service needed and the guidance to get
them through this trying experience.
Here are a few of the many categories of disaster claims that you
can call upon Restoration Experts to restore.

Wind can damage or tear off roofs, damage contents introduce water,
and cause electrical power failure. Whether it be a broken window
or a torn off roof, we offer 24 hour emergency board up service
and provide generators for ample equipment usage. When an entire
structure is wet and contaminated with drywall and insulation debris
or microorganism growth, disaster cleaning and decontamination crews
are also available for you and your insured.

When vandals and thieves strike they leave behind a destructive
trail. Our professional technicians are trained to act quickly and
return your insured's property back to a safe and secure dwelling.
At first glance many scenarios seem impossible to restore. Restoration
Experts views these claims as a challenge and will rise to the occasion.
Advanced technology, rapid response and continued industry education
allow us to restore the insured s devastated property back
to prior condition.

One of the most difficult of disaster restoration categories to
prepare for and handle professionally is trauma claims. These consist
of accidents, murder, suicide and other situations involving severe
protein, viral and microorganism contamination. All procedures performed
by the staff of Restoration Experts are both EPA and OSHA approved.

Water damage arises from many sources. It may be as simple as
an air conditioner condensation pan or a sink overflow
a frozen
pipe or malfunctioning appliance. It may be associated with a sewage
back up or another external force. Regardless of the source Restoration
Experts is available to assist your property owners with all reasonable
and prudent steps to preserve, protect and secure their property
from any further damage. These claims seem to occur at the most
inconvenient hour of the day or night, holidays and weekends. We
are qualified to evaluate carpet, structure, health hazards, etc...
Since water affected areas deteriorate rapidly, escalate in cost
and pose potential safety and health hazards, our immediate response
is crucial. Ranging from minor water absorption, warping, swelling,
wood staining, rust and delamination to swollen doors, split joists
and disintegrated drywall, we are fully capable of servicing all
claim scenarios. Our technicians will concentrate efforts on safely
drying, deodorizing and disinfecting the area flooded or damaged
by water. Our equipment includes powerful truck-mount and portable
extraction units, heavy-duty pumps and meters to accurately measure
the extent of moisture saturation. We will use sanitizing agents,
germicides and anti- microbial treatments for odor, bacteria, mildew
and harmful microorganisms. High-tech drying equipment will be used
to reduce humidity levels and prevent corrosion, swelling and warping
of floors, walls and furniture.

We offer complete carpet, tile, vinyl and hardwood flooring installation
services as well.

When excessive moisture or water accumulates indoors, mold growth
often will occur, particularly if the moisture problem remains uncorrected.
While it is impossible to eliminate all molds and mold spores, controlling
moisture can control indoor mold growth.
All molds share the characteristic of being able to grow without
sunlight; mold needs only a viable seed (spore), a nutrient source,
moisture, and the right temperature to proliferate. This explains
why mold infestation is often found in damp, dark, hidden spaces;
light and air circulation dry areas out, making them less hospitable
for mold.
Molds gradually damage building materials and furnishings. If left
unchecked, mold can eventually cause structural damage to a wood
framed building, weakening floors and walls as it feeds on moist
wooden structural members. If you suspect that mold has damaged
building integrity, consult a structural engineer or other professional
with the appropriate expertise.
Moisture control is the key to mold control. When water leaks or
spills occur indoors - act promptly. Any initial water infiltration
should be stopped and cleaned promptly. A prompt response (within
24-48 hours) and thorough clean- up, drying, and/or removal of water-damaged
materials will prevent or limit mold growth.
Maintaining indoor relative humidity below 70% (25 - 60%, if possible).
Cleaning and drying wet or damp spots as soon as possible, but no
more than 48 hours after discovery.
The purpose of mold remediation is to correct the moisture problem
and to remove moldy and contaminated materials to prevent human
exposure and further damage to building materials and furnishings.
Porous materials that are wet and have mold growing on them may
have to be discarded because molds can infiltrate porous substances
and grow on or fill in empty spaces or crevices. This mold can be
difficult or impossible to remove completely.
As a general rule, simply killing the mold, for example, with biocide
is not enough. The mold must be removed, since the chemicals and
proteins, which can cause a reaction in humans, are present even
in dead mold.
A variety of cleanup methods are available for remediating damage
to building materials and furnishings caused by moisture control
problems and mold growth. The specific method or group of methods
used will depend on the type of material affected. Some methods
that may be used include the following:
Wet Vacuum
Damp Wipe
HEPA Vacuum
Disposal of Damaged Materials
Use of Biocides
However, the spores in the ambient air will not cause further problems
if the moisture level in the building has been corrected.

The staff of Restoration Experts is trained from basic cleaning
to the identification of very specific residues associated with
fire claims. All technicians are capable of determining the different
degrees of residue and have a vast understanding of the differences
between dry and wet smoke. Knowledge of the principles of deodorization
allows us to control the effects of odor. Specific chemicals and
procedures are used to effectively clean masonry or brick surfaces,
acoustical surfaces, plastic, glass or wallpaper. Painted surfaces
such as walls, ceilings, doors, or windows that may be cleanable
today may require painting if not tended to immediately. Restoration
Experts is professional and responsive. Different variables are
taken into consideration in order to determine the proper restoration
of affected contents. We also are responsible for providing you
with a determination of pre-use condition and of pre-existing damage.
We provide prompt initiation of the proper procedures in order to minimize
losses. By doing so we will save your insuredss valuable assets,
time and will possibly save the loss of irreplaceable items.
We offer many other services than just fire and water restoration.
The responsibility of Restoration Experts is to provide for all
of the needs of its customers. A few of the basics are included
here:

We have certified technicians with powerful mobile extraction units
offering the most modern concepts in carpet and upholstery cleaning.
Our cleaning neutralizes stale odors, refreshes and restores new
life to carpet while removing shampoo residue left from previous
cleanings. We use only approved cleaning agents that are environmentally
safe. Oriental and area rugs are a specialty. MSDS (material safety
data sheets) are available upon request for all chemicals used by
Restoration Experts.

Computers, TVs and stereos, recording equipment and other
electronic devices found in homes and businesses present their own
set of restoration circumstances. Hand cleaned by specialists, they
are always checked to make sure they can be operated safely.

Boats are subject to the same types of fire, flood or trauma situations
found in homes and businesses- only the scope of the damage is different.
Like homes, boats contain carpet, upholstery and other fabrics and
a surface which may be cleaned and deodorized at costs considerably
less than replacement alternatives.

Restoration Experts strictly uses two systems that have developed
in recent years. These are particularly efficient when it comes
to deodorizing clothing. The first involves the use of dry solvent-based
deodorant. Dry solvent deodorants eliminate problems such as circling,
shrinkage and dye bleeding often associated with water-based deodorants.
The second system, electronic deodorizing employ ozone gases and
is even more effective than the first. It has an additional advantage
of being usable in situations where the client has severe allergies,
which can be aggravated by chemicals of any type. Ozone is a clear
colorless gas that produces the crisp, clean smell. The super charged
ozone molecule attacks smoke odor in fabrics and destroys it permanently.

Restoration Experts is capable of the removal of fire/water-damaged
contents and structures to complete residential packouts. We ensure
complete protection of all materials and property while repairs
are in process.

We strictly enforce the removal of the source of odor-charred, rotted
or putrefying contaminants. All surfaces are thoroughly cleaned
that were exposed to malodorous residue. Our objective is to rapidly
reduce the odor thus allowing the insured to remain in the affected
dwelling. Recreation of the contaminant conditions allows for proper
restoration. If the odor was produced by smoke then we produce a
deodorant smoke gas or fog of our own. If the odor was
caused by fluids that breed bacterial odor, we use a deodorizing
fluid. This penetrates and kills bacteria. There are
many techniques, chemicals and procedures that we use dictated by
each individual situation. These general procedures allow for fast,
effective and permanent odor elimination.

HVAC restoration entails various components. Restoration Experts
provides you and your insured with detailed evaluations and estimates.
Over recent years awareness of duct cleaning has become prominent
such as Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) and Building Related Illnesses
(BRI). We are suited to handle Inspection services including before
and after photographic documentation, cleaning and sanitizing of
air conveyance systems; encapsulation and cleaning of interior insulated
air conveyance systems, laboratory testing services and replacement
of existing filters. We are staffed to perform air quality testing
and monitoring as well as many other services.
